DESCRIPTION:On January 31 we are holding our LA Fire Relief Benefit show.\n  \nAs the host of Backyard Improv\, I will be personally donating $50 for every $5 ticket purchased for this show to the following funds: \n\nCORE: https://www.coreresponse.org/southern-california-wildfires/\nDirectRelief: https://www.directrelief.org/emergency/california-wildfires/\nPasadena Community Foundation: https://pasadena.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=6192\nHabitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles: https://www.habitatla.org/how-to-apply/disaster-relief/\nLos Angeles Regional Food Bank: https://www.lafoodbank.org/fire/\nLos Angeles Fire Department Foundation: https://supportlafd.org/\n\nAfter you buy your ticket\, you can specify which of the charities you want the $50 donation benefits\, or it will be split evenly among all 6. Instead of paying a fee\, you can send the $5 directly to my venmo (@cycle23x)\, and specify the charities\, or reach me via email (cody.l.saunders@gmail.com) or in person to do the same. \nIn addition\, I’ll be applying for 50% matching funds from my employer. Note\, this portion of dontaion may take a bit of time to process\, whereas I’ll be making my direct donations over the weekend after our show. \nAnd of course\, anything further you venmo me the night of the show\, eg: for drink donations\, will go directly to these funds. \nMake Cody spend his money on a good cause! If we sell out I’ll be sending $2500 to these causes! \n  \nAnd hey\, it’s going to be a pretty bad ass show: \nSinging in the Range will be led by Branson NeJame on keyboard\, who will also play the keys for the opening act\, BeeBoiz\, the latest mashup from Bryan Saunders! More below! \nDoors at 7:45pm with refreshments served in the courtyard before\, during intermission\, and after the show. \n  \nLINEUP\n8:00pm – BeeBoiz – Bryan Saunders pulls together a bunch of dudes to open our show\, despite my insistence that we don’t just have all dude groups. That guy. Anyway\, I’m in it\, too. \nAlso: Brock St. Clair\, Cris Skelton\, Jeremy Weinrich\, Luke Lutz & Nick Kaufman! \n8:30pm – Singing in the Range – Musical director Branson NeJame accompanies this delightful musical improv group. \nIntermission\n9:00pm – Space Heater – This Backyard Improv founding group has been keeping the stage warm since 2021! \n9:30pm – Coca~Lola – Just vibe to the music\, yo.
