of feminism as a magician’s assistant, a real estate broker, and a standup comic could be so funny?
Andrea Mezvinsky is an award-winning, actress, comedian, and writer whose first gig in showbiz was as a magician’s assistant. Crowned ‘America’s Funniest Mom’ on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Andrea recently won best comedy at NOHO’S fringe festival for her solo show ‘Sawed in Half’. Named Best of the Boroughs in the New York Underground Comedy Festival, Andrea performs stand-up regularly at venues that include Caroline’s on Broadway, the Comedy Stop in Atlantic City, the Mohegan Sun. Her Film/Television/Theatre credits include: The CBS movie Open Admissions; Comedy Shorts on the Bravo Channel; the indie films Gratuitous Sex and Storm up the Sky; the Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Day New York, the Hallmark Channel; Grandma Sylvia’s Funeral, Socks Without Partners and the premiere of the play Audition.
